My Family
I'm a wife, and Mom of three kids! I work full-time as an educator but I am hoping to transition out of the classroom very soon!
My Background
I started teaching in 2008 as a first grade teacher. In 2015, I became an instructional coach. I went to Graduate School in 2020 to get my Masters in Educational Leadership. After serving as a coach for eight years, I stepped back into the classroom due to the teacher shortage.
I was just trying to survive being a full-time sub, with no materials of my own and raise my three kids at the same time. I reached a breaking point and thought...this just isn't fun anymore. The juice is not worth the squeeze and my family rarely gets the best of me. I was done. Done with it all and ready to explore options to get out of the classroom.
My Why
One of my teacher besties bestowed me with title, "injustice pioneer" during my last months in the classroom. I was willing to sacrifice everything- my reputation, my career, my future- in order to expose the toxic environment we were forced to work in.
While I was on my crusade, I realized, if I left the classroom without equiping my teacher collegues with tools they need to better themselves, than I'm leaving the workplace environment just as it always was and my battle would be all for not.
I decided, not only was I going to change MY LIFE and my FAMILY'S FUTURE, I was going to restore hope and courage in all teachers who doubted their ability to successfully leave the classroom and start their own, profitable 6 figure income.
